A family style country breakfast of fresh fruit, muffins, breads, and Cook's choice of French toast, quiche, or pancakes is served in the family dining area, with yogurt sundaes for dessert.


Evening snacks

  A Favorite Ostrander Recipe  

We serve 100% pure local maple syrup and farm fresh eggs, gathered daily from our chicken condo, by Al and Kate (Border Collie)

Maple Upside-Down Oven Pancake

  • 1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR
  • 1/3 CUP BUTTER
  • 1/2 CUP PURE MAPLE SYRUP
  • 1½ CUP BISQUICK BAKING MIX
  • 1/4 CUP BROWN SUGAR
  • 2 EGGS
  • 1 CUP MILK

Heat oven to 350°. Heat ½ cup brown sugar, butter, and syrup in saucepan over low heat until melted. Pour into greased 13x9 pan. Beat remaining ingredients using whisk, until blended. Carefully pour over syrup mixture. Do not mix. Bake uncovered 20-25 minutes until top springs back when touched in center. Cut into squares, turn upside down and serve immediately. It can be sprinkled with cinnamon sugar mixture before baking. Can be garnished with fresh fruit and maple syrup.
